A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with this provider. The provider processes data exclusively on our instructions and solely for the purpose of providing the hosting service.

Cookies and consent management (§ 25 TDDDG)
Our website uses cookies and similar storage technologies.
Strictly necessary cookies
Strictly necessary cookies (e.g. to store the language setting via the multilingual plugin Polylang) may be set without consent under § 25(2) TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act, called “TTDSG” until May 2024), because they are technically indispensable for providing the service you expressly requested.
Non-essential cookies and services
Non-essential cookies and services (e.g. statistics tools such as Google Analytics or embedded maps such as Google Maps) may only be loaded with your prior, express consent under § 25(1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.
Contact form and contacting us
On the contact page we offer a form with the fields name, email address, phone or WhatsApp (optional), website address (optional), subject of the enquiry and message. When you use this form, or contact us by email or phone, the data you provide (contact details and the content of your message) is stored and processed by us.
Google Site Kit / Google Analytics
We use the web analytics service Google Analytics provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies or comparable technologies that allow an analysis of website usage (including pages visited, time spent, device used, approximate location based on the IP address).
Google Maps
The contact page embeds a map from the mapping service Google Maps, operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
The map is only loaded after your active consent (click on “Accept & load”). Only then is a connection to Google servers established, whereby, among other things, your IP address may be transmitted to Google and possibly stored there. This may also take place outside the EU/EEA.

Google Fonts
To display fonts consistently, our website uses Google Fonts.
When you access our website, your browser loads the required fonts from servers of Google Ireland Limited. This inevitably transmits your IP address to Google. As a result, Google learns that our website was accessed from your IP address.
Social media – links
On our pages we link to our profiles on Instagram and Facebook (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited). These are plain links, not embedded social plugins – when you click them you leave our website and the privacy policy of the respective provider applies:
- Instagram: Instagram Privacy Policy
- Facebook: Meta Privacy Policy
No data is transmitted to the respective platform merely by displaying the link on our page.

Data transfers to third countries (USA)
When Google services are used, personal data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. According to its own statements, Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), which was recognised by the European Commission in an adequacy decision of July 2023 and upheld by the General Court of the EU in September 2025 (Case T-553/23).
Important notice on the current status (October 2026)
An appeal against the judgment of the General Court is pending before the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) (Case C-703/25 P, Latombe v Commission); it has not yet been decided. In addition, following a judgment of the US Supreme Court of 29 June 2026 (Trump v. Slaughter) on the independence of the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the validity of the adequacy decision is being publicly questioned: the privacy organisation noyb has called on the European Commission to withdraw it and has announced a further legal challenge. The CJEU declared the two predecessor arrangements (Safe Harbor, Privacy Shield) invalid in each case. The current adequacy decision is valid and applicable for the time being, but further legal developments should be monitored. Where DPF protection does not apply, the transfer takes place, in the alternative, on the basis of EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
Data security
We use technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. The website is transmitted via an encrypted SSL/TLS connection (recognisable by “https://” in the address bar).
Currentness and changes to this privacy policy
This privacy policy is currently valid (as of October 2026). Further development of our website or the implementation of new statutory or regulatory requirements may make it necessary to amend this policy. The current privacy policy can always be found on this page.
